Throughout the year the customer uses the majority of solar generated on site within the property. Most months just 2-5% is returned to the grid. On an annual basis, 85% is used within the home – only 15% returned to grid.
Overall electricity consumption reduced by 62% per annum.
Focus was on self-consumption to reduce electrical use within the property since the customer works from home, installation has helped manage outgoings through a period of rising energy costs.
